This procedure involves the
mechanical scraping of the top layers of skin using a high-speed
rotary wheel. It can smooth scars left by acne or accidents and
facial wrinkles, especially around the mouth. Recovery for back
to work is 2 weeks, with more strenuous activity resuming in 4
to 6 weeks.
